The updated complete alternator replaces ALL the components of the Alternator and the rotor removal tool.
The high output design includes a European made stator and rotor with increased electrical output and paired with a modern diode board, and adjustable voltage regulator. Replaces the under performing Bosch charging system with a 107mm outside diameter stator (timing cover side) used on BMW Airhead's from 1976-1995. This EDL3 charging system will reach charging voltage sooner than any other BOSCH style charging system we offer.

Use the fitment table on the APPLICATION TABLE TAB BELOW to identify the correct kit size before ordering. You can measure the inside (timing cover side) and outside (stator frame side) diameter of your stator ring with calipers or use the BOSCH Alternator part number. Further instructions are included in the installation guide to verify the correct kit required.
Some customers report increased component failure when use of LITHIUM Style batteries. These batteries are not recommended or supported for warranty replacement of components.
