The m.unit blue by motogadget is the next generation of digital control units for motorcycles. It boasts a range of new and improved features, including 12 inputs and 10 outputs, replaceable cable clamps, and Bluetooth LE connectivity. This allows it to be paired with the m.ride smartphone app, giving you even more control over your motorcycle's electrical system.
The m.unit blue is the heart of your motorcycle's electrical system, managing everything from the alarm system to the starter relay. It can be operated using buttons or traditional handlebar switches and is designed to reduce the number of relays and components in the wiring harness, making rewiring a breeze.
With the m.ride app, you get even more features like Keyless Go, where the bike's electrical system is activated as you approach with your smartphone. The app also provides real-time audio fault messages, firmware updates, and diagnostics. Additionally, the app keeps a logbook of your journeys and vehicle status, and even helps you find your parked bike.
Compatible with both Android and iOS devices, the m.unit blue by motogadget is the ultimate digital control unit for your motorcycle.

MotoGadget M-unit Blue
I completely wired my bike the old fashion way with all the fuses and relays, I was adamant that I didn't need or want the m unit and spent a couple hundred figuring out my wiring system. I ended up wanting to go with some new hand controls that had only momentary buttons and couldn't find any that were locking that would fit. After searching around on how to make them work I realized it would be another 100 just to get them to work and it would add more relays on top of what I already had. I decided to just bite the bullet and order this and what a difference! I completely got rid of all fuses and relays and cleaned up my rats nest that I had going on and then realized I had way more functionality with this then I even knew it came with. I have an 83 goldwing that got upgraded to the 21st century with options like an alarm, flashing brakes and phone connectivity that is actually useful, with a tracker system as well. As far as cognito moto this company has been great for customer service and support with any questI completely wired my bike the old fashion way with all the fuses and relays, I was adamant that I didn't need or want the m unit and spent a couple hundred figuring out my wiring system. Very reasonable staff, they made sure I got the parts I needed
Still at the wiring stage but I like this unit, it does away with a lot of the existing wiring and negates the need for a separate fusebox (M-Unit uses internal circuitry to detect a fault and shut down that individual circuit)
Bluetooth functionality means I can now do keyless ignition (using an M-Lok as a backup in case my phone dies)
Plenty of wiring videos, documents out there on the internet, not encountered any issues so far.
and as a bonus a lot of the switch side of the wiring can be way smaller than the original wiring due to it working on an earthing principle.
Happy with my purchase and I think it is a good investment.
Be prepared to use a little time and patience understanding everything before starting.
Super easy to set up, way cleaner than using fuse boxes and relays.
