Products & Fitment
Q: How do I know if a part will fit my bike?
A: Fitment details are listed on each product page. If you’re unsure, reach out with your bike’s make, model, and year, and we’ll help.
Most inverted forks are roughly 29.5" from the top of the fork to the axle center when unloaded. This typically lowers the bike’s front end by about 2 inches, depending on the length of your stock forks. This is rarely an issue, but when it does arise, it’s usually due to tire clearance with the exhaust. So far, we’ve only encountered this on the XV920 or XV750 with a large tire and GSX-R triples with a 30mm offset.
Q: What are rise triples, and when would I need them?
A: Rise triples are designed to help retain more stock geometry or add clearance if needed. They are useful when installing inverted forks that lower the front end too much, which can cause issues like tire clearance with the exhaust. If you're experiencing this or want to maintain a more original ride height, rise triples are a great solution.
Q: How do Cognito Moto fixed-offset triples improve handling?
A: Our fixed-offset triples are designed to optimize handling by maintaining proper trail length and ensuring the offset works with your new forks. Most stock inverted fork triples (e.g., GSX-R, R1/R6, CBR) have a smaller offset, so we generally increase the offset to improve the turning radius and prevent the forks from hitting the tank. Our triples also include adjustable steering stops to further prevent tank interference.
Q: Do you offer custom triple clamps or modifications?
A: Yes! We offer custom triple clamps for various fork swaps. If you need specific modifications, contact us before ordering.
Q: Do you provide installation guides or support?
A: Yes, many of our products have installation guides available on their product pages. We also offer YouTube videos demonstrating the installation process. If you need additional support, feel free to reach out.
Returns & Warranty
Q: What is your return policy?
A: We accept returns within 30 days of purchase, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. The customer is responsible for return shipping. Custom-made parts are non-returnable.
Q: Do your products come with a warranty?
A: Yes! All Cognito Moto parts are covered by a Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and craftsmanship. This does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or improper installation.
Custom Orders & Special Requests
Q: Can I request a custom part?
A: We can machine custom triple clamps and select other parts on a case-by-case basis. Email us at sales@CognitoMoto.com with details.
Q: Do you offer wholesale pricing?
A: We do not offer dealer programs or wholesale pricing due to the niche nature of our products and low production volume.
