I bought one of these for a ‘71 CB750 I am building. The product is fantastic and the price is great. I cut out the right hand side to use it with the stock oil tank and was still able to fit the recommended battery, starter solonoid, rec/reg combo (on top) and also modified it to house the ignition switch, run switch and high/low beam switch.
Perfect fit for the 1976 BMW R90/6. I had to replace the petcock's on both sides of the motor and both petcocks perform and installed flawlessly.
Asked for a speedometer mounting hole rather than riser holes. Told Cognito Moto which speedometer I was using and they placed the hole perfectly. Gorgeous finish.
