LED Wires:
- Each LED has:
- A positive wire (colored to match the LED light color).
- A black wire (for ground).
- Each LED has:
-
Identifying Black Wires:
- Use a battery to systematically test each colored wire by connecting it to the positive side of the battery.
- Check each black wire individually to identify which LED it corresponds with through a process of elimination.
-
Yellow LEDs (Turn Signals) & Blue LED (High Beam):
- Positive Wire (yellow for turn signals, blue for high beam) should connect to the respective turn signal or high beam circuit.
- Black Wire connects to ground.
-
Red LED (Oil Light) & Green LED (Neutral Light):
- Positive Wire (red for oil light, green for neutral light) should connect to a 12V source that is key-switched on (i.e., only powered when the ignition key is on).
- Black Wire connects to the oil switch and neutral switch, respectively.
- Note: These LEDs are ground-switched rather than 12V-switched (like the turn signals and high beam), so they activate when grounded.
