Top Clamp Indicator Mod

Add five integrated LED indicator lights to your Cognito Moto top triple clamp for a clean, built-in alternative to separate indicator housings. We machine the clamp for the LEDs and wiring and supply the modification fully assembled. Perfect for simple gauges without their own indicator lights.

Choose Your LED Layout

• Straight Line (No Riser Mounts): Our original off-center straight-line arrangement of five LEDs. Not compatible with top clamps that have handlebar riser mounts.
• Around Fork Nut (Riser Compatible): Five LEDs arranged in a curved arc around the steering stem nut. This layout keeps the handlebar riser mounting area clear and can be used with clamps fitted for handlebar risers.

How to order: Add the Cognito Moto top triple clamp you need to your cart, then add this indicator modification and select your preferred LED layout. The clamp and LEDs will be supplied assembled.

Wiring Instructions

• LED wires: Each LED has a positive wire colored to match the LED and an individual black wire for its negative connection.
• Identify black wires: Use a suitable LED test power source to test each colored positive wire and check each black wire individually to identify the matching LED.
• Yellow LEDs (turn signals) and blue LED (high beam): Connect the colored positive lead to the corresponding turn-signal or high-beam circuit. Connect its black lead to ground.
• Red LED (oil pressure) and green LED (neutral): Connect the colored positive lead to keyed 12 V. Connect the matching black lead to the oil-pressure or neutral switch, respectively. These indicators are ground-switched and illuminate when their switch connects the black lead to ground.
