Complete front and rear 36-spoke wheel kit for the 2021-present Harley-Davidson Sportster S 1250. Each wheel is built around a Cognito Moto billet hub and supplied fully laced and trued with stainless steel spokes and nipples.

Choose Your Front and Rear Wheels

The Sportster S uses a wide 17 x 4.25 front rim from the factory, so this kit is not limited to narrow traditional front motorcycle rims. Front wheel choices will include wider rim widths in each available diameter where our 36-hole Sun and Excel rim offerings allow it.

Front rim sizing will be offered with wider choices by diameter, including:

17 inch: up to 4.25 inch wide
18 inch: up to 4.25 inch wide where available
19 inch: up to 3.50 inch wide where available
21 inch: up to 2.15 inch wide where available

The fixed wheel components total $2,105.94 before rims: $540 front hub, $950 rear hub, two $180 36-spoke kits and two $127.97 wheel-lacing services. The selected front and rear rim prices are then added automatically.

Rims

Sun and Excel rim pricing is based on the current rim products sold by Cognito Moto. The Excel 17 x 5.50 Black rear option uses the separate 36-hole predrilled Excel rim.

Tubes and TPMS

These are tube-type rims and require inner tubes. The rims can be sealed for tubeless use by a qualified third party, but Cognito Moto does not perform or warrant tubeless rim sealing.

The factory tire-pressure sensor does not install directly in this tube-type setup. Retaining TPMS requires modification.

ABS and Fitment

Changing rim diameter, rim width or tire size changes rolling circumference and can affect ABS and other wheel-speed-based systems. A custom ABS trigger ring may need to be fabricated if the final tire diameters differ from stock.

Verify tire manufacturer rim-width requirements along with tire, fender, fork, brake, swingarm, belt and chassis clearance before ordering a non-stock wheel size.
