So you've put on your rearset but don't know how you will actuate your rear brake drum lever? This part attaches to the Cognito Moto rearset and provides an offset to actuate the rear drum.

Specs:

One tab for pulling the brake arm
Second tab for adding tension spring and brake switch

Disappointed

Have to say I was disappointed upon receiving the offset linkage. I had assumed (in error) that the part would be aluminum and finished to the same standards as other parts I’ve purchased from Cognito. Instead the part received is steel, with cracking at every bend. I’m assuming the metal was formed in a press and led to stress cracks. While this hardly reflects the quality rear set adapters I purchased prior, I’m surprised that this was passed on to the consumer.

Wiring this is a pain

It comes with a quick connect, which I suppose could be helpful if you have the one model which it fits. However, most people will likely have to wire it in themselves, splicing and cutting as needed. For that, this switch is not perfect, but it's not terrible either. The high beam/ low beam and turn signals are simple enough, each one having a positive for each light and a shared ground between the two. (Total 6 wires, 3/ switch). The pass/horn, however, is a mystery. As far as I can tell, the black wire has continuity with exactly nothing, and the brown wire is not much better. The high beam wire is connected to this as well, but it does not function to flash the high beam, or really do much of anything with this switch.
The build quality is nice though, and it did bring my headlight and turn signal back to full function, even if I did lose the horn.

Too large to fit in adjuster

The title says clutch felt but the description says brake/clutch cable adjuster felt. I knew what it was but others may be confused.

The felt is too large to fit into the adjuster and needs to have a larger channel for the cable. I modified mine to fit but you have to do it a certain way

Perfect for minimalist builds

Great piece and solid welds. Only thing to note is the picture is different from what you actually receive. The top of the tray is flush with the mounting flanges between the frame rails, so you will have a little bit of the bottom poking out if you mount it directly to the frame but this gives you about 1.5" of clearance in the tray.
